Introduction to Veil Technique

Learn basic, intermediate, and advanced veil technique in this master class. Students learn the techniques of veil work to the beautiful song, Habbibi Ya Albi. Body mechanics, warm ups and cool downs designed to develop and strengthen the upper body for class are also included. ( This class is a prelude to my coming Thursday night classes, see below). Students also receive technique combinations and individual attention in class. Class includes a brief discussion of my background as well as brief discussion of the history and costuming of the dance (and break time!). Please have a shawl or veil (3 to 3 1/2 yrds of silk chiffon) and two scarves of light fabric of 2yrd+ length available to dance with.

Registration Information

Tuition: $25/class ($22.50 + $2.50 processing fee)

Tuition is then invoiced via email through Square and must be paid in advance of class

Once class tuition is paid, a *Zoom link to class will be emailed to the address provided. If you do not receive a reply within a day or so, please check your junk mail for wayward correspondence.
