Veil Dance - Habbi Ya Albi

Students of all ages and levels of ability are encouraged to take class.

In this class series, we will apply the basic, intermediate, and advanced veil technique to Egyptian movement performed to the song, Habbibi Ya Albi. Classes include movement combinations, choreography, plus warm ups and cool downs to develop and strengthen the body in preparation for class. Students also receive much individual attention in class as well as a brief introduction into my background as well as that of the cultural context of the dances and their origins and costuming. Please have a shawl or veil (3 to 3 1/2 yrds of silk chiffon) and two scarves of light fabric of 2yrd+ length available for dance.

Tuition: $100 (+ 2.50 processing fee)
